About

Michael Saliba is an accomplished East Coast guitarist and singer/songwriter.

Primarily a solo artist, he also performs with the beloved “Happy Days” cast. Michael is part of the Donny Most Orchestra, covering vocals legends such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Bobby Darin, to name a few.

Working with Donny led to the opportunity to work on “Happy Days Live” with Henry Winkler, Donny Most and Anson Williams — performing songs from the popular TV series.

Most recently, Michael began working with Linda Purl and Donny Most covering songs from the Great American Songbook and more.

Michael also works at Media Ideas, a complete audio and video facility.

A word from Michael

I started my professional career at 16, playing at Long Island popular venues covering all of my favorite artists.

Soon after, I was signed to Jericho Sound Studios, where I recorded originals. This led to my studio career recording for various artists and producers.

THE 80s

I worked for jingle houses as a writer and singer and was part of a team that won a Best on Long Island award for jingles I sang. I also played with many local popular cover bands, doing club dates and weddings, all while performing my original songs in a band of my own.

THE 90s

I had the opportunity to meet some great players at an Open Mic Night I was hosting. Like birds of a feather, we flocked together forming my original band “For Now ” we played from Montauk to Manhattan, being well-received with great reviews. It was a wonderful time.

Unfortunately, my father’s health was starting to fail, and I needed to be by his side. I would have had it no other way. So I put playing out on hold. Running my own business, Michael’s Pride Installations, gave me the flexibility to work and care for him.

But not playing out did not mean not playing. As a matter of fact, I never played more.

I built my own studio, honing my engineering and producing skills. Writing and singing with my father by my side, I went to the shed — a term used by old-time musicians when they would literally go to a woodshed to practice and grow as a player. My father loved good music!

THE PRESENT

Now I’m raising a family — my daughter Rachel and sons Michael and Gabriel. Thank GOD. What a joy.

Oh, yeah, I’m ready to perform again!

Michael’s Pride Live takes the audience on a musical journey through the decades!  From the 1920s to the present day, keeping your clientele/friends and family entertained for hours. Not only performing the standards you know and love, but putting a modern day twist on these classics.

It’s a refreshing and uplifting sound.

Michael’s Pride Live features full backing tracks with a full band’s sound recorded at Michael’s Pride Studios. (All tracks created by Michael Saliba.) You won’t hear these versions of these songs anywhere else since I created them explicitly for my performances.

Michael looks forward to performing for you and your family/clientele at your intimate gathering indoor or outdoor venue or corporate event.
